Suzuki SV650 2019

V-TWIN FUN MACHINE

What started in 1999 as a real-world motorcycle built to deliver "V-Twin Fun For All", the Suzuki SV650 quickly became a rider's phenomenon around the world. Not only was the motorcycle well-suited for urban roads but it was right at home on the racetrack too. The newest generation SV650 raises the fun factor even higher thanks to Suzuki's latest innovations. Well-beyond simply being classified as just a novice's motorcycle, the SV650 is a rider's go anywhere dream machine.

Suzuki V-Twin Technology

The Suzuki V-twin engine is a marvel of engineering and superb versatility. While at lower RPMs, this engine delivers powerful torque that’s easy to handle and a deep throaty sound. Open the throttle to the mid-range, and the power of the engine responds linearly and smoothly, yet always under your control. Finally at higher RPMs, the V- twin cruises with performance ready to go, even at higher gears. The full-powered version punches out an impressive 56.0kW @8,500rpm with 64Nm of torque @8,100rpm.

SDTV Fuel injection

The SV650 features Suzuki’s performance-proven Dual Throttle Valve fuel-injection system, which includes dual butterfly valves per cylinder for enhanced power output efficiency. Combined with the ten-hole fuel injectors, fuel-combustion efficiency is further optimised as well as smoother power delivery and fuel economy. Furthermore, the system includes a thinner and lighter 39mm throttle body with a built-in ISC (Idle Speed Control), providing even more idling stability and environmental performance.

Dual Spark Technology

Suzuki’s Dual Spark Technology utilises two spark plugs per cylinder for precise ignition. The result is increased combustion efficiency, smoother power delivery, lower fuel consumption and lower emissions.

Trick LCD Instrument Panel

A multifunction LCD instrument panel displays gear position, digital speedometer, tachometer, as well as indicators for odometer, trip meter, average/instantaneous fuel consumption, driving range, clock, water temperature gauge and fuel gauge. Backlight is adjustable in six levels of brightness and can be set to your preference.

About The Brand

Starting business in 1909 as Suzuki Loom Works, the firm was incorporated in 1920. Since foundation Hamamatsu, Japan, SUZUKI has steadily grown and expanded.

During the post-W.W.II period, our motorized bike 'Power free'* which earned a good reputation was followed by our 125cc motorcycle 'Colleda', and later by the pioneering 'Suzulight'* lightweight car that helped bring Japan's automotive revolution.

Each of these was epoch-making in their own right as they were developed and manufactured by optimizing the most advanced technologies of that period.

Today, constantly going forward to meet changing lifestyles, the SUZUKI name is seen on a full range of motorcycles, automobiles, outboard motors and related products such as motorized wheelchairs and industrial equipment.

Suzuki is recognized by people throughout the world as a brand of quality products that offer both reliability and originality. SUZUKI stands behind this global symbol with a sure determination to maintain this confidence in the future as well, never stopping in creating such advanced 'value-packed products'.

Due to the time frame for freight deliveries to these locations, no missing articles will be considered by Peter Stevens Motorcycles or the relevant shipping company before a minimum of 3 months from shipping date.

When you see the "FREE SHIPPING AUSTRALIA" image on a product page, there will be no freight charge for regular road post items. If you request an Express Post or air freight upgrade this will attract a fee equal to the increase in our postage cost.
