This lightweight machine isn't a full-fairing sport bike and it's not a standard naked-bike either. We call it a Neo-Sports Cafe: it's a motorcycle built for the way we ride today. Fun to ride, a joy to own, the CB300R has many of the premium features found on its larger capacity siblings but in an ultra-lightweight and compact form, tipping the scales at just 143kg wet. It's our lightweight star with a performance advantage. The pressed and tubular steel frame has a tuned rigidity balance that gives great feedback. The tapered rubber-mounted aluminium handlebar, LCD instrument display and full LED lighting exude quality and add to the pride of ownership. The CB300R puts certainly put the full force of Honda's engineering prowess, design philosophy and high build quality firmly on display..

Engine

The CB300R's engine is designed with a minimum number of moving parts. Details like low-friction piston rings, high-density core radiator and iridium spark plug help increase fuel efficiency. Thanks in part to the weight-saving measures and the intake layout, initial acceleration is strong and smooth.

Chassis and Suspension

The CB300R's 41mm inverted fork offers a smooth ride with compliant damping. The supple spring rate is just right for a bike this size.

Styling

Another perfect example of classic styling with a modern touch, the CB300R features an all-LED lighting package, yet still sports a timeless round headlight lens. The LED taillight is the thinnest ever mounted on a Honda motorcycle.
