A brand new fleet of nine 2011 Harley models were sent to Peter Stevens Motorcycles Dandenong for test rides on Saturday 9th October. Over 30 riders took the opportunity to evaluate two of the latest models of their choice back to back on a route that took in Lynbrook, Eumemmerring and Endeavour Hills. Models that attracted a lot of attention included the XL883 SuperLow, the V-Rod Muscle and the Softail Deluxe.

The members of the Dandenong Harley Owners Group made a big contribution to the success of the day by running an excellent sausage sizzle to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Our thanks go to Dandenong Chapter director, Karen, who led an enthusiastic team of sausage sizzlers.

A steady stream of visitors rode in throughout the day each on their own pride and joy and provided us with a terrific show and shine and yes, there was a yarn behind every bike.

After weeks of dismal weather, it was time to ride in perfect conditions – and at Dandenong they were perfect – cool but sunny.
